Colin Jones and Nigel Sanger took the honours in the Royal Norwich Trophy with 43 points in the 4BBB format. Runners Up with 42pts were Andy Borg and JJ Micallef.
Paul Gray won the Mixed Cross Country Medal yesterday with an impressive net 64. Mario Demajo was Runner-up with another good score of net 66 and Anne Thompson was the Best Lady with a net 70.
I have just completed a further review of trolleys in the Locker Room. Some 385 trolleys have been “tagged” – thank you! After more than 5 months, there are still 18 standard trolleys and 2 electric trolleys which have not been claimed and which are in a serviceable condition. So, as announced earlier, these will now be disposed of.
In order to try and further reduce overcrowding in the Locker Room, can I ask you not to leave golf bags, shoes or clothing lying around – they should be stored in your lockers. Offending articles will now be removed and treated as lost property! Meanwhile there will be occasional spot checks on trolleys – untagged trolleys will be disposed of.
I apologise for this rather dictatorial approach, but hope that by reducing the number of trolleys and golf equipment lying around the Locker Room, you will find it easier to store your trolleys and staff will find it easier to do the cleaning.

Draft Minutes of the 2014 AGM can be accessed with accompanying Presentations in the secure Management section of the website under the folder “General Meetings”. Those who attended the AGM may like to send any comments to the Secretary whilst proceedings are still fresh in their minds; whilst members who were unable to attend may find the Minutes and Presentations of interest. However note that these Minutes will remain as “draft” until approved at the next AGM in June 2015.
