The ladies season started today with the Memorial Day Trophy Stableford qualifying competition. This was played in memory of past lady members who are no longer with us.
A traditional Swedish lunch and wine was served to our ladies after presentation and our Lady Captain Gun Edlund went on to present Rita with a gift from the ladies section to congratulate her on 20 years bar service.
It was a lovely atmosphere which went on well into late afternoon, and a good time had by all.
The winner of the Memorial Trophy was won by Mia Allsopp with a score of 35 points.
This was closely followed by Maria Woodward who scored 34 points and Doreen Balzan took third place with 33 points.
Well done to all our winning ladies.
