The Hangover Cup was played, fought over, but still went to Malcolm Keen with a great score of 41 points. Malcolm has now retained the Hangover Cup!
On Countback, Kevin Donovan with 40 points came in second, well done.
The draw for the Creasy Cup took place on completion of the presentation, and is attached below.
The ladies enjoyed a wonderful day on Thursday 26 October, celebrating their lady captain, Gun Edlund. Gun organised a fun competition with quite a few surprises thrown in to keep the ladies entertained. These included using a very large tee on the 11th, playing with a left hand club (for the right handers and vice versa) on the 5th, trying to beat the pro on the 16th and a Mulligan wherever you like. Everyone had such a fun filled time.
Thanks to Goran for serving home baked pastries and prosecco on the 18th and to Putter’s Inn for serving us with a delicious lunch.
Thank you to the sponsors for the competition who included Daily Sports, The RMGC pro shop, Danny Holland and Goran Edlund. (More photos available on The Royal Malta Golf Club ladies Section Facebook page)
Winners of the team competition were Mia Allsopp and Doreen Balzan with 74 points and runners up Sue Simons, Monica Borain and Violeta Scott. The individual winners were Mia with 34 points and runner up Anne Hillman with 33 points.
Due to numbers playing on Saturday, the Men’s section are releasing tee times for all members from 1100hrs this Saturday.
Please note that for next Wednesday only, the Yoga Class will start at 16:30.
