The World Games of Special Olympics were held in Berlin recently. The World Games are one of the biggest sporting events in the world and well over 7000 athletes from different sports meet every 4 years.
The team consisted of Adam Pisani, Rebecca Dalli, and Mark Serge coached and accompanied by Henning Schulze-Doering, Head Golf Professional RMGC. The three RMGC athletes competed at Golf level one and the many hours of training yielded a Gold medal for Mark in the men’s competition and a Silver medal in the women’s finals. Adam, unfortunately, fell sick during qualifying and was awarded a participation ribbon.
