Recent Agronomic Enhancements
Over the past week, we’ve implemented several key practices to elevate course quality while minimizing play disruption:
● Early Start Times (5:30 AM): Our team now begins operations before sunrise to ensure greens and fairways are mowed before the first tee times, reducing noise and maximizing your experience.
● Manual Tee Mowing: We’ve transitioned to walk-behind mowing on all tees to improve cut precision, enhance turf health, and create more consistent playing surfaces.

Closure Day Maintenance
With the course closed today, we are carrying out a series of critical agronomic practices essential for long-term turf health and playability:
● Double Verticutting with Backtrack – Enhances green density, reduces thatch, and improves ball roll.
● Aeration and Topdressing of Greens – Relieves compaction, improves root development, and creates firmer, smoother surfaces.
● Slicing of Fairways – Enhances aeration, encourages deeper root systems, and improves irrigation penetration for better moisture management.
● Fixing Low Spots and Sodding Bare Areas – Promotes uniform lies and improves turf coverage across the course.
● Bunker Edging – Maintains clean bunker lines and preserves proper sand containment.
● Rough Mowing – Typically disruptive during regular play, now completed without disturbing players.

These planned closures are vital to delivering the elite playing conditions our members expect. Key benefits include:
