This is the first Par 5 with a slight dog leg to the left. The drive needs to be accurate as the fairway is narrow with trees guarding the right and a water hazard running all the way down the left. Short hitters off the tee may opt to lay up short of the ditch that runs across the fairway – particularly if full of water! Long hitters will clear this ditch and then aim to clear the two large fairway bunkers with their second shots. Others will use fairway woods or long irons to come up short of these two bunkers, leaving an iron to the green with a chance for a birdie. The green slopes to the left in the direction of the water hazard so play your approach carefully.
