Defined by boundary walls, fences, and white stakes or lines. Driving Range and Practice Putting Green are out of bounds.

Penalty areas (Rule 17).
Marked by red stakes or lines.
• The storm ditch (17/18 – starting from the right of the bridge) is a No Play Zone. Relief option for both tees is a Drop
Zone on the bridge.
• The lateral penalty area on 8 beyond the lagoon extends to infinity.

Abnormal course conditions (Rule 16-1).
• No Play Zones marked by blue lines or blue stakes (e.g. GUR, staked trees/shrubs).
• Concrete paths in the general area.
• Immovable obstructions: signs, fixed sprinkler heads, benches, ball washers, signal bell, bins, machinery.

Integral Objects
No relief from: stone structures, the service road alongside holes 3, 6 & 7, gates in boundary walls, the bridge between 17
& 18 (integral), and protective nets/screens.

Notes & Player Care
• Local and Temporary Rules on the Notice Board override scorecard rules.
• Fairway distances in yards to green centre: Blue – 200, Yellow – 150, Red – 100.
• Water and vending stations are located by the Chapel (after holes 7, 10, and 13).
Etiquette – Giving Priority
Priority is always given to those further into the course
• Exception: 1st tee has priority over 18th green.
Pace of Play & Course Priority
4 hours for 18 holes (40 minutes per 3 holes). Groups must allow faster players through if behind pace, searching for a ball,
taking a break. Priority order: Official RMGC Competitions > 4-balls > 3-balls > 2-balls. Single players have no standing.
Groups retain priority if they remain within pace guidelines.
