The scorecard contains important information such as individual hole yardages, the distance from each coloured tee marker to each putting green, the slope and rating of the golf course which is used in calculating the difficulty of the course for use as part of a player's official handicap, the difficulty of each of the 18 holes from hardest to easiest is also key information.
