The Takomo 36.

The seasons first Major weekend is in bag and played in glorious weather over two days.

In the Takomo 36, a new feature, designed for players that wouldn’t ordinarily enter the Major, Peter Gable collected 3rd place from Peter Naudi but both were undone by a closing 40 from new to golf William Lovquist who also won the prize for the biggest celebration of the day and the whackiest shirt.

I left him at the Club behind two bottles of champagne and he may be there for some time.

My thanks here to Toni and the Takomo team for donating additional vouchers topped up by the Men’s committee.

Well done – a great event, and we plan to replicate the concept at the Laferla Trophy with hopefully some better weather to accommodate buggy users.
